The ad blocker
that learns.
Shield AI blocks ads and trackers at full browser speed — then goes further. An AI model running on your device spots sponsored posts, native ads and brand-new formats that filter lists haven't caught yet.
- No page content leaves your browser
- No account
- Open filter lists
Two engines. One smart shield.
Filter lists stop known ads instantly. Shield AI finds the rest — and turns what it learns into rules for everyone.
- 01
Block known ads natively
EasyList and EasyPrivacy are compiled by our Go engine into Chrome's built-in blocking rules. Zero latency, even before a page loads.
- 02
Detect new ads on-device
A compact model scores page elements by structure: "Sponsored" labels, ad-network links, standard ad sizes. It runs locally in WebAssembly.
- 03
Learn together, privately
If you opt in, only anonymous signals are shared — a site name, an element selector and a size class. Never text, full URLs or identity.
- 04
Verify, then ship
A rule is published only after many independent users agree, low false-positive feedback, and validation by the same compiler your extension uses.
Every AI decision shows its work.
See why something was hidden — "labeled as sponsored", "ad network", "standard ad size" — with a confidence score. Disagree? One click restores it and teaches the model.
div.feed-cardNative-speed blocking
Requests are blocked by Chrome itself via Declarative Net Request — no per-request JavaScript, no slowdown.
Mark an ad
Spotted something we missed? Click it. It disappears now, and with sharing on it helps block it for everyone.
Power-user friendly
Custom filters in Adblock Plus / uBlock syntax, cosmetic rules, scriptlets, per-site allowlist and rollback for list updates.
Tracker cookies, gone
Cookies from known tracking domains are deleted the moment they're set — while your own logins stay put.
No ad profiling
Turns off Chrome's Topics and Protected Audience ad APIs and link-click pings. Optional WebRTC IP shielding.
Your pages stay yours.
Ad detection happens inside your browser. Sharing is off by default and you can switch it off anytime — pending reports are deleted instantly.

Questions, answered.
Is Shield AI free?
Yes. Shield AI is free to use with no account.
Does the AI send my pages to a server?
No. The model runs on your device. Only if you enable "Share anonymous ad signals" does Shield AI send small structural reports — never page text, full URLs, cookies or identity.
Will it break websites?
AI detections only hide elements visually; they never block requests. You can restore any element or turn Shield off for a site in one click. Community rules are published only after broad agreement and low false-positive feedback.
Why does it need access to all sites?
An ad blocker has to see the pages you visit to block ads on them. All analysis happens locally in the extension.
Does it work with Manifest V3?
Yes. Shield AI is built for Manifest V3 from the ground up, using Chrome's native Declarative Net Request engine.
